Consulting
We provide four different types of Professional Consulting Services. These services vary according to the engagement risk level, the level of project ownership/responsibility and the expected amount of additional technical support and project oversight required. These services can be summarized as follows:
Full ProjectThis type of engagement would define a full project orientation and its requirements, including consultant staff and specific deliverables that the project team will be required to accomplish within a specific time period and price.
This project approach may include the use of contract development resources, as appropriate, to provide the desired cost structure and ROI on specific projects. Fees are determined on a project-by-project basis, based on the size and complexity of the project.
Leadership or Semi-ProjectThis engagement would apply where one of our staff serves as technical lead or Project Manager through which all client work direction is supplied. In this case, we would lead and direct members of the team for their day-to-day support functions. We prefer to be the single point of contact for the client. This type of project shares the risk between the Client and myself and I may or may not commit to specific project deliverables.
Non-ProjectThis type of engagement is non-project oriented and we provide consultants to accomplish specific types of technical services and expertise on a non-project basis, i.e., providing day-to-day operation services. Project direction and management is the responsibility of the customer.
Situational ConsultingPeople often require brief interventions. We can't provide free consulting, or we'd be doing this 100 hours a week. Your questions deserve a careful response, and we are generally asked to help clients make money. We offer situational consulting - an hour on the phone and a week of ensuing email - for a reasonable one-time fee.
